Catch Up on Sleep

One of the benefits of being home is that there is no commute time to work and no having to get through your morning routine before work! With all that extra time you would have been spending in the car, what should you do? We think you should go ahead and use that extra time to sleep in a little longer, here’s why:

Sleep is vital to your physical and mental health. It allows your body to repair itself, fit off infections and viruses, and allows your mind time to rest and destress.

 

For most people, getting 8 hours of sleep is ideal, however, it can be challenging with all the things going on in our regular lives. Now that most people are at home and have minimal morning routine and commute times, it is the perfect time to grab an extra 30-60 minutes of sleep!

 

Getting that extra little bit of sleep can be the difference between feeling amazing and healthy and feeling tired and groggy. Especially right now with COVID still out there, you want to make sure you are getting enough sleep for your body to detox from anything it may have picked up that day.

 

Use your extra time to catch up on missed sleep. You’ll notice an amazing impact of your health and overall wellbeing.
