So, you’ve decided to get back in shape. You know you need to focus on your nutrition and have a solid workout plan. The only question left is, to do it solo or with a coach? Which will be best for you? Let’s find out!
Would you build your own house from scratch? The idea seems fun and romantic. Working with your hands, building the place you will live in, and saving money by doing it yourself! Then the reality sets in, you don’t own the tools or machinery to do that, you don’t know how to set up plumbing or wire electricity, you don’t want to go to the county office to get your zoning looked at. Probably just better to hire an expert and save the headache!
When it comes to your fitness, it’s no different than building a house. You have to live in your body for the rest of your life. You want it to be healthy and have a solid fitness level to support the life you want to live. Chances are, you are not an expert in nutrition or exercise, and that’s ok! That’s where you bring in the expert! There is a lot of information out there, some is great, and some is awful, but do you know the difference? If someone showed me two articles on how to build a roof, I wouldn’t be able to tell you which is the better article. Your coach will cut through the noise for you and provide you the answers you need to reach your goals.
If you are ready to reach your goals and continuing progression forward, you are better off having a coach guide you. At CrossFit 286, we specialize in coaching and can help you get started! See you soon!
