You should have a good grasp as to what things you should focus on in you plan to use your time at home to build the lifestyle you have always dreamed of. The next step is to actually implement these items in a way that is sustainable. Here is how you can do that.
First off, don’t make the mistake of doing too much at once. Far too many people try to go full 180 on day 1, only to fall off by week 2. Changing too much too soon can be overwhelming and is unsustainable. If you want these changes to stick, you need to take it 1 step at a time. So which step should you take first?
The one you need the most! Seems obvious, right? But which one do you need the most? Start by taking an objective look at your lifestyle. Journaling about it can help too. What are you doing currently in each category and where would ideally like to be? If 10 is ideal and 1 is on another planet, rank where you currently are. Choose the lowest number and start there. That could be sleep, that could be nutrition, etc. That item is your highest priority and will get you the fastest results.
Start small with this item. If you are only sleeping 5 hours per night, shoot for 5:30 or 6 hours. Don’t go straight to 8. Work your way there. Once that number has moved up beyond the rest, move to the next lowest number. Yes, I am suggesting you get your sleep to a 10 before dialing in your exercise (or whatever order you need to work on). Continue this process until everything is at a 10!
This is a slow process, but it will get you to a place where you are making lifestyle changes that actually stick! If you need help identifying what your highest priority item is or what steps to take first, book an intro and talk with one of our coaches. They will help identify this for you!
