Have you been wanting to get into the gym and/ or work on improving your health for a while? If so, you’re not alone. Everyone wants to be healthier and fitter, but committing to that takes time, and let’s face it, there’s not enough time in the day! Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like they’ll be adding hours to the day any time soon. Here’s what you can do though.
Get started! There will never be a perfect time to take control of your life. Something will always come up. Vacations, holidays, taco Tuesday, there’s always something we can use as an excuse to avoid taking control of our health. But tomorrow is right now, so we need to get started as soon as possible.
This doesn’t mean you need to go from 0 to 100 over night. That is a recipe for disaster. Take small steps in the right direction. Carve out 10 minutes to go for a walk or run, eat 1 fresh vegetable each day. Start small and let the momentum build up. The important thing is that you take action.
