Nourishment: Putting it All Together

We want to tell you a story about a member of ours who really embodies the idea of nourishing your body. Her name is Gisselle. Gisselle has been working out at CrossFit 286 for a few months and has recently really committed herself to proper nourishment. Here is her story:

When we first met Gisselle, we sat down and talked and told us that she wanted to get in better shape and live a healthier lifestyle. She got the ball rolling on that by committing to come in 3 days per week for group classes. Her progress was solid, but after a few months, she decided she wanted to take the next step.

 

She signed up for a 6-week nutrition challenge that we were running. This challenge includes nutrition, hydration, and other lifestyle factors such as sleep and recovery. All the things you need to focus on to properly nourish your body! Over these 6 weeks, she remained disciplined and committed and at the end, was the body composition change winner of the women’s side of the bracket! It was not easy, but progress rarely is!
