This past Friday we re-opened our gym after 2 months! During those 2 months, we pivoted to 100% online coaching, we loaned out nearly all of our equipment, and did several fun online challenges! 2 months later and we are slowly getting back into the gym! Just because we are re-opening, does that mean you should come back to the gym if you don’t feel ready to do so?
Of course not!
The main reasons we hear from people who are not ready to come back into the gym yet are that they want to limit interaction to keep themselves safe, or they have not workout at all and feel incredibly out of shape. Let’s start with. The first point.
If you do not feel comfortable going out in public yet, then please, stay home! Just because businesses are opening up does not mean COVID is going away or is any less contagious. At CrossFit 286, we are taking every possible step we can to make our gym a safe space for you, but if you don’t feel ready to come in, we won’t force you!
