The Missing Link

Nutrition and exercise are linchpins in your ideal lifestyle. When we talk with people, we commonly hear that when they are dialing in their nutrition and exercise, they feel better and make better choices. While exercise and nutrition are major factors, there are others that you don’t want to overlook. They are…

…Sleep, hydration, mindset, and sunlight. This is not an exhaustive list, however, these are the big 4 that will give you the most bang for your buck as you look to build to lifestyle of your dreams.

 

When living your best life, part of that is probably having boundless energy to get the things done that you love to do. That starts with sleep. Having energy will come from being well rested. Getting enough sleep, but too much will give you this energy. It will also allow your body to recover and properly release hormones for optimal health and vitality!

 

To continue on with how to feel your best, you’ll want to make sure you are well hydrated. Your body is comprised mostly of water, so ensuring you consume enough water will lead to better health and cognitive function! You’ll have no problem powering through your day once you start consuming enough water!

 

When living the lifestyle of your dreams, do you ever get sick? Most likely not. While building this lifestyle, you’ll want to find ways to improve your immune system. One of the best ways you can do this is by getting enough vitamin D3. And the best way to get that, is by getting outside! Just 10min per day has been showing to have drastic improvements on immune function. Another benefit of getting outside is mental health. Studies have shown that people who are exposed to more direct sunlight are less likely to develop depression.

 

Finally, we have mindset. In your ideal lifestyle, are you happy, sad, or angry? Probably happy, right? Mindset is key in stablishing this happiness. Outside circumstances will not bring you happiness, your mindset will. As you implement everything we talked about this week and everything today, your mindset will begin to shift, but it is up to you to make it permanent. Be positive, think happy thoughts, be compassionate, and you will notice your mindset becoming more permanent.

 

The times we live in now are an opportunity to build the lifestyle of your dreams. You can implement all of these items directly from your home, and because you have a ton of time at home, now is the best time to implement this stuff!
