You probably have heard of CrossFit, currently do CrossFit, know someone who does CrossFit, and/ or seen someone online doing CrossFit. So what makes CrossFit so special? Why are all of these people obsessed with it and won’t shut up about it?! The reason CrossFit is so special is pretty simple…
CrossFit gets results. Whether you want to lose weight, gain muscle, prepare for a marathon, or live a healthier life, CrossFit will get you those results. The reason this is possible is because the program can be adapted to meet you where you are at. If you currently do CrossFit, you are aware of this and see it done every single day and have reaped the results of this. If you have never done CrossFit before and aren’t sure that it will get you the results you want, I can assure you, it will.
Anyone can do it. Similar to what was mentioned above, anyone can do it! Walk into any CrossFit gym and take a look around. You will see the most diverse group of people you can imagine, in all shapes and sizes and fitness levels. You can have someone training for the Olympics and someone who wants to lose a little weight before summer in the same class, doing the same workout, and both getting the benefits of that workout!
You will be accepted. One of the most innate humane instincts is to want to be a part of a group, a tribe. In a CrossFit gym, everyone is welcoming and accepting of anyone who walks in. It does not matter your history, your successes, your failures, your likes, your dislikes, you will be accepted by the group. No one will force you to be a part of this group, but they will always welcome you, and you will start to feel as though your fellow CrossFitters are part of your family!
These three things, getting results, anyone can do it, and being accepted, are the three main reasons CrossFit is so special. Yes, there are countless other reasons we could dive into, but these are the big three. If you are looking to get results, with a plan any one can do, and do it with a group of people who will accept and support you, book a No Sweat Intro. That can be done here:
