I bet you have some goals you really want to achieve. These goals are important to you. They’ll change a lot of things for the better. You’ll feel better physically and mentally, be more productive, and be able to live the life you’ve always dreamed of. So, what are you doing now to achieve those goals?
If you want to achieve your goals and change your life, you need to have a plan. Do you have one? If so, how detailed is it? When putting together a plan, you need to make it as detailed as possible. What will you achieve, by what date, and how? If you don’t have detail like this in your plan, how will you know if you were successful, or what things need to change? Spoiler alert, you won’t achieve your goals and won’t know what went wrong along that journey. Grab a pen and paper and start here.
On the top of your paper, write out your goal. What are you seeking to achieve? Then below that, write the date by which you plan to achieve this goal. Below that, list out in detail how you will achieve this goal. Next, list why you want to achieve this goal. Finally, follow the ½ Rule (see Wednesday’s blog post) and plot out all the micro steps you’ll need to hit to accomplish your goals. After doing this, put this piece of paper somewhere you can see it every day. You now have hard data on how to accomplish your goals. This sheet will provide the details you need to accomplish whatever it is you wish to accomplish.
