How is your daily routine holding up? Are you finding it tough to stay productive, exercise, eat well, spend time with the family, and binge watch shows on Netflix? If so, you aren’t alone. Time management while working from home can be tough. Here are some ways to maximize your time at home.
Wake up at the same time every day. Your routine starts from the moment you wake up. If you want to maximize your day and your time, it all starts by waking up at the same time. If you don’t your day can be thrown off, and as a result, your productivity goes down as you are scrambling to get too much done with not enough time.
After waking up, plan your day out. What time will you work and for how long? When will you take a break? When will you eat lunch? When will you work out? Treat your day as if you are working from the office and plan accordingly. This will ensure you don’t get off task and that your day flows smoothly.
Pro tip. Set alarms for when you will take a break, when you will drink water, eat, workout, etc. It can be easy to get bogged down by work, especially at home, so use some alarms to give you a notification of what to do and when.
