Surviving Quarantine, Day 4

Times are crazy right now. A lot of people are not quite acting like themselves. Some have cabin fever, some have a lot of fear and anxiety, and some are absolutely carefree. It’s truly an interesting time. It is no time to get out of a routine though…

Many people are working from home and finding they have more free time than they thought. Kids are out of school and more free time than they should right now. We need to make sure we keep ourselves into a routine. If we are not in a routine, our lives will feel more and more chaotic. We will become unproductive, and when the time comes for the world to return to normal, we won’t be ready to do so.

 

Make a schedule for yourself and/ or your kids. Every night I plan out my next day. I will make a schedule in my phone or my notebook so that I can stay on task. If I don’t do that, I feel overwhelmed and anxious, which leads me to being unproductive. Make a schedule and keep yourself to it. Plan out when you’ll exercise, drink water, eat, walk the dog, watch TV, etc. You’ll notice that you will feel far more stress free.
