Surviving Quarantine, Step 2

Have you been to the grocery store recently? That place is crazy! People are stocking up on all kinds of things. But are they stocking up on the right kinds of things? Most of the shelves are barren looking from people stock piling highly refined and processed foods. Here is what you should be stock piling though.

Real food. You should be loading up on real food such as; meat, vegetables, fruits, nuts, and seeds. All of these items can be stored and reserved to last longer if needed. While you’re cooped up, you want to make sure you are improving your immunity. These foods will do that for you!

 

Stay away from the junk! Avoid the highly processed foods with tons of refined sugar in them! While they last forever on the shelves, they will do your body no good right now. We want to build up the immune system and those will just destroy it. Especially if you aren’t exercising as much as your body needs!

 

These times are unprecedented, but it’s still not an excuse to eat poorly and do a disservice to your health.
